Overview

BOLLY is operated by mini tech co. We collect only what's necessary to run the game and will never sell your data. No account or email is required to play — signing in with PuzzParty is entirely optional and only needed if you want your streak saved across devices and a private leaderboard of your friends.

What we collect

• Anonymous session — The first time you visit, we create an anonymous account for your browser (via Supabase Auth). It has no connection to your real identity unless you choose to sign in with PuzzParty, and is used solely to track your streak and game history.
• Game results — When you complete a puzzle we record the outcome, wrong guesses, hint usage, and completion time, linked to your account.
• PuzzParty account link — If you choose to sign in with PuzzParty, we store your PuzzParty username and account ID so we can merge your game history across every device you sign in on, and show you a leaderboard of your PuzzParty friends who also play BOLLY. We never see your PuzzParty password, and we don't store your friends list — it's requested fresh from PuzzParty each time the leaderboard loads.
• Display name — Used only by the separate Season leaderboard and BOLLY with Friends features, unrelated to PuzzParty. If you choose to set one there, it's shown publicly on those rankings. You can change it any time.
• Anonymous usage data — Page views, country, and device type collected by Vercel Analytics. No personally identifiable information.

How we use it

Your data is used to run the game — streak tracking, personal stats, the PuzzParty friends leaderboard (visible only to your PuzzParty friends, never public), the Season leaderboard, and aggregate community stats shown on the results screen. Nothing else.

Data retention & deletion

Game history is retained to maintain accurate streaks. Disconnecting PuzzParty from your account page unlinks your device but does not delete your game history. To have your data fully deleted, contact us and we'll action it within 30 days.

Children's privacy

BOLLY is not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted data and we'll delete it promptly.
